Lena Binnington

Lena creates contemporary jewellery and metal objects under the working name Studio Orobica. She has exhibited her work across Canada and internationally, and is currently an artist-in-residence at Harbourfront Centre in downtown Toronto. Lena completed her B.A. majoring in fine art at the University of Toronto in 2014, soon followed by her Jewellery Arts diploma from George Brown College. Her pieces are influenced by avant-garde fashion, the observed world and material exploration. In her current work, Lena strives to find the sweet spot between compelling design and technical excellence using traditional and experimental techniques.
