Katherine Dolgy Ludwig

Dolgy Ludwig received a B.A & B.Arch from UofT, MFA from London’s Chelsea College, and taught at OCADU. Her influential teachers were Marshall McLuhan, Allan Bloom, Graham Coughtry, Peter Prangnell, Ornette Coleman, and Chinkok Tan. Her work is in the permanent collections of the Chelsea Arts Club, Pentagon, NYC Mayor's Office, National Arts Club, Globe Theatre, Playboy, and many other corporate and private collections in the U.S., Canada, France, Australia, and U.K. Her Fellowships are from critics at New York’s freeDimensional, A.I.R. Gallery, The Brooklyn Rail, NYU Tisch, and Art in America. Her art is critically acclaimed by jurors from the Metropolitan Museum, Brooklyn Museum, and Royal Academy, winning Best Watercolor at the National Arts Club three times, and Best in Show awards for painting, and printmaking, from The League. Feature press includes the NY Times, Daily News, NYU Humanus, CBS WUSA News 9, Globe&Mail, Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, and American University in Paris.
