HMCS SCHTEEMIE

K MacLean

The HMCS SCHTEEMIE so named after a Montreal hotdog, boasted a triple steam turbine and a walkway that linked mid ship to bow. Unfortunately a crew member left a porthole open after a cig break. She took on water after diving below the surface and sank off the coast of Spain. The crew were rescued and the one who left the porthole open fired. He went on to open an after hours club on St Laurent who’s claim to fame besides luke warm beer was steamed hot dogs.
