Jogi Makhani

There is some history behind this piece of Douglas Fir Wood. Around 2000, CNE replaced the first Flag Post. It was cut up and discarded. I happened to be at the CNE in 2005 and noticed this six foot section lying on the ground. The guy there told me if I could carry it, it was mine. And so I did. On further information from their office, I was told this piece was at least 340 years old. I just wanted to pay respect to the wood by highlighting the close knit rings and minimizing my input.
