Nostalgia is a Ribbon Called Colour

Jessica McVicker

This painting is about looking at nostalgia metaphorically. In this painting memories are similar to the ribbons left from opening presents at Christmas time or the annoyance of playful ravens. This painted also explores tone and how colour interacts with each other.
This piece is unframed but has thick sides painted black making it so you do not need to frame it.
