The wonder of a pine cone is ageless. They are art and science and rejuvenation and joy.
This pine cone was created using an original technique of hand sculpting each detail out of powdered glass. The glass went in and out of the kiln many times before completion with new hand worked techniques applied each time. The pine needles are formed in the flame of a torch. The background design in the glass is created with layers of coloured glass. The custom glass box can sit or hang on a wall.
