This photo print was taken on Christmas Day 2019—Before Covid. I had given my friend a mask for Christmas in regards to a running inside joke. Currently on display at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, the image to the right of it is a selfie I took the first day I was able to work outside of home in 2020. For me these two images represent how something once playful can in a way cease to exist if we allow it to.
