Summer rain with jar, hammer and nails, prayer carpets

Dan Crawford

Another image in the series depicting the landscape, still life, carpets and measurement. All images are imaginary that depict the four seasons. The Summer image depicts a sunlit sky on a vast terrain and a distant rainfall seen through a narrow window. Flanked on either side are prayer carpets and decorative dhurries. Around the perimeter is a calendar marking the passage of time. The lone jar with nails and a hammer is a symbol of labor.
