Damien Faucher

Saint-Sauveur
Born in France in 1986. Damien Faucher learned the basics of woodworking in the family workshop of his father, a timber frame artisan.
Being in close and daily contact with wood from an early age has generated in him a special feeling about this natural material and an imperious desire : create, using wood.
After an apprenticeship and a degree in timber framing, he worked for different timber frame companies in Europe. In 2015, he moved to Canada where he works as a timber frame artisan during the summer.
He also started his own company where he creates sculptures and original pieces of furniture made from leftover timbers he gathers, using all of his artisan skills to enhance the natural beauty of wood in an artistic way.
