The Hardy Boys and The Girl in The Dresser (Edition 3/3)

Ava Margueritte

Putting feelings into words has never been easy for me. People use idioms to explain them: “the pit in my stomach”, “head over heels”, “a torpedo of emotions”. These aphorisms are substitutes for feelings that often remain ineffable to me. As a neurodiverse woman self-portraiture has become a way to aid in navigating my feelings.
