Anthia Barboutsis

Anthia Barboutsis is an art jeweller from Toronto, she studied Material Art and Design from OCAD University in Toronto, and graduated in 2021. As an art jeweller, Anthia believes jewellery is an expression and reflection of ourselves. Her work, rooted in the realm of traditional craft, often draws inspiration from her Greek and Indian heritage, and from contemporary art and design practices to create elegant, organic and intricate forms of jewellery. She specializes in merging textile and jewellery techniques to create intricate hand woven pieces of wearable art in sterling silver. Anthia has work with L.A Pai Gallery in Ottawa and the Craft Ontario Shop in Toronto, and has been featured in Heusers Magazine. She displayed her work in the Canadian Modern exhibition at the Royal Ontario Museum in 2023, and exhibited in the 2025 Cluster Contemporary Jewellery Fair in the UK.
