I am an emerging artist and designer based in Toronto. I first studied interior design at Ryerson University and later, contemporary ceramics at the Geneva University of Art and Design in Switzerland. After returning to Canada, I also completed a ceramics residency at Medalta in Alberta. Through my creative journey, I have always strived to integrate my design experiences into my ceramic practice. My intent is to create timeless jewellery pieces and objects that are approachable and celebrate the materiality and processes in ceramics.
I am inspired by the interplay of geometric forms, often playing with the idea of symmetry and asymmetry. As I continue to develop my work, it has evolved to be more sculptural in form.
