Tania Love is a Toronto based artist. Her multi-disciplinary practice includes painting, drawing and site specific installations and wearable textiles.

Tania's work evolves as a response to place, where the season, the palette, natural forms and cultural context have all figured in the realization of specific works. With a keen interest in materials, she creates tactile pieces that invite slower rhythms and relationship to natural cycles.

Her textile work combines her training in fine arts and drawing skills with natural dyes to create a nuanced wearable collection. The pieces are hand screen print and painted with plant based inks and dyes that she prepare in small batches. Many of the dye plants are harvested locally such as black walnut and sumac.

Recipient of numerous grants, international residencies and exhibitions, her work has been seen from local surrounds to Europe, USA and Asia.
