"Flamingo Floaty" celebrates the summer. I manipulate latex molds of toy doll heads which I then casts in concrete. This represents a universal model for the average urban dweller with the distortion referencing his or hers daily pressure, stress, perception and unease. The bodies are usually painted on found wood from around my neighbourhood. I've also included a rusted metal palm tree. By incorporating these elements I bring a unique individuality to each piece. This piece is ready to hang.
