Lori Mirabelli is an established local artist creating modern abstract art. Lori is originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. She studied Psychology at the University of Laurentian, and even though she wanted to pursue a career in fine art, she went on to work in the field of child welfare. Despite her full-time career, she continued to nurture her love of abstract art and in 2009, she set her sights on breaking into the modern art Toronto scene. She took a leap of faith, sold her house and moved to the big city.

Currently, Lori resides in her Downtown, Toronto studio-loft. Lori works primarily with acrylic paint on canvas; however, she is known to work oil and cold wax as well. Her abstract art is comprised of strong bold lines and geometric form that is coupled with an emphasis on space.
