Mississauga
Kirollos is an artist and illustrator from Mississauga, ON. He works in a variety of techniques both traditional and contemporary in order to create work that finds meaning in mystery and chaos. His work focuses on visual metaphors and symbolic language, which is enhanced by his parallel practice as a Coptic Orthodox Iconographer. He draws on this complex artistic heritage in order to tell peculiar stories from history, current news, and everyday occurrences, sometimes endowing them with an uncanny mystique.
