Cambridge
My fascination with architecture has always been evident in my art. I find inspiration here at home as well as in Europe and North America. My favourite medium, acrylic, allows me to achieve rich textures and bright, luminous colours. I start with free, improvised washes at first, and add multiple layers of various elements to create a spontaneous urban landscape, filled with energy and light. In this very intuitive process my goal is to express the mood rather than focus on the detail.
