Alanna Peters’ work explores impermanence through light and movement in water. She captures weightlessness and reflection through transparency. Her underlying theme is to paint what we wish to hang onto while knowing we must let it go. Alanna was born in Ottawa and now lives in Toronto. She earned an Honours BA for Fine Arts from McMaster University and a BEd for Arts Based Learning from Queen's University. She works in oils on wood panel.
